Estimating Engineer

At Constructora del Cardoner, we have been delivering high-quality construction projects for nearly 40 years. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to add an Estimating Engineer to strengthen our Technical Department in our Barcelona office. If you are passionate about construction, interested in the tendering and pre-construction phase, and eager to grow professionally within a well-established company committed to quality, we would like to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for building and civil engineering projects.
    • Analyse tender documents, quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
    • Work closely with site teams to optimise technical solutions.
    • Identify value engineering opportunities to improve the competitiveness of proposals.
    • Support the tendering process and the Estimating Department.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Degree in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Technical Architecture or a related discipline.
    • Knowledge of Presto, TCQ, AutoCAD or similar software.
    • Strong analytical skills, technical judgement and a results-oriented mindset.
    • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
    • Previous experience in estimating or tendering is an advantage, although motivated junior candidates will also be considered.
