Party-wall building located in the Eixample district, just a few metres from Arc de Triomf. Originally built in the 1960s to house offices, the project involved the building’s structural refurbishment and the transformation of the spaces into high-end residential units.

The intervention included the construction of 12 loft-style homes and 1 commercial unit, as well as an underground car park with 13 parking spaces. A mixed construction system was implemented, combining efficient structural solutions with high-quality building services and finishes. The use of the Lean Construction methodology made it possible to optimise execution times and improve coordination among the different stakeholders, ensuring an agile and highly controlled construction process.

We have brought to fruition

The transformation of an office building into residential use

  • The new homes meet high standards of comfort, quality and energy efficiency.
  • Limestone and timber were used for interior and façade cladding and flooring. Within the homes, oak wood and white Carrara marble were installed with great care and precision.
  • The structural intervention involved remodelling the façade and creating a new central inner courtyard, enabling cross ventilation throughout the homes.
