Pine Hill is a comprehensive refurbishment project located in Fuengirola (Málaga). The intervention focuses on an existing residential building, redefining its programme and internal layout in order to adapt it to a new residential model and to current standards of comfort and functionality. The project reorganises the complex into 71 homes and introduces shared amenities and a multidisciplinary communal area, with a clear focus on execution quality and overall coherence of the final result.

The works required particularly precise technical planning in order to incorporate design modifications during construction without interrupting the progress of the works. Among the most distinctive interventions is the structural reinforcement required to build an elevated infinity pool above the structural slab, as well as the transformation of part of the sloping roof of the duplex units into private solariums.
At the same time, energy-efficiency improvements have been implemented through mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery and thermal insulation solutions for the roofs. Close coordination between Constructora Cardoner and Cardoner Instalaciones has been essential to ensure control, quality and compliance with the schedule in a refurbishment project involving an existing building.
