The construction of the Rise Center at the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu in Sant Boi de Llobregat involved refurbishing one of the existing hospital buildings to transform it into a Research and Specialised Mental Health Treatment Centre. The work was carried out within an active hospital environment, ensuring safety and uninterrupted access to the premises at all times.
The main challenges of the intervention included structural reinforcement and the construction modifications required to adapt the building to a new, highly technical functional programme, while maintaining the quality and safety standards inherent to a healthcare facility.

- Working within an active hospital environment required maximum precision from all teams to meet the established deadlines and minimise disruption to the entire Parc Sanitari. The planned schedule was met, ensuring the centre could be put into operation as expected.
