The Hotel Andante Princesa project, located on Princesa Street in Barcelona, involves the comprehensive refurbishment of the interior spaces of a three-star hotel with a total built area of 2,972.91 m².

The works cover every floor of the building, upgrading guest rooms, communal areas and facilities to meet the current requirements of the hospitality sector.

The refurbishment includes the renovation of guest rooms, corridors, reception, breakfast area, kitchen and technical spaces, incorporating new finishes, wall coverings, flooring, bathrooms and furniture. The project retains the existing structure, façade and roof, focusing on functional reorganisation and the modernisation of the interiors.

One of the main challenges is integrating new heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, fire protection and control systems into an existing building, requiring precise coordination between the different technical teams and specialist contractors. The project also incorporates energy-efficiency, accessibility and responsible resource management criteria.
