Madrid: newly completed residential and retail projects

Constructora del Cardoner’s Madrid branch has recently completed the Humanes – Plan Vive III residential development and the refurbishment of the lake area at Westfield Parquesur.

Over recent weeks, the Madrid branch has completed two projects that reflect its current activity, combining industrialised residential construction with interventions in high-traffic commercial environments.

Two projects of very different typologies that showcase the company’s ability to deliver industrialised residential developments and operate within landmark retail spaces.

On the one hand, the company has completed Humanes – Plan Vive III, a protected housing development promoted under the Community of Madrid’s Plan Vive programme.

The project delivers a complex of 50 affordable rental homes built using industrialised construction systems, incorporating prefabricated concrete structures, industrialised façades and prefabricated bathrooms, with the aim of optimising delivery times, construction quality and execution efficiency.

At the same time, the branch has also participated in the refurbishment of the iconic lake area at Westfield Parquesur, one of the leading shopping centres in the Madrid region.

The intervention has transformed and modernised the terraces and outdoor spaces surrounding the lake, reinforcing its role as a leisure, dining and social gathering area for visitors. The project forms part of a broader renovation strategy aimed at enhancing user experience and strengthening the shopping centre’s premium positioning.

Desde el punto de vista operativo, ambos proyectos han supuesto importantes retos de planificación, coordinación y ejecución, desarrollados en entornos con elevada exigencia técnica y de funcionamiento.
