We complete two refurbishment projects in Barcelona: Hotel Andante Princesa and Escola Pia Sarrià

From the interior refurbishment of a hotel to the renovation of a school courtyard: two projects in Barcelona with very different requirements and technical challenges.

This month, we have completed two new projects in Barcelona: the comprehensive interior refurbishment of Hotel Andante Princesa, in the El Born neighbourhood, and the renovation of the main courtyard at Escola Pia Sarrià.
Two projects with very different characteristics, but a shared objective: transforming existing spaces to improve their functionality, comfort and usability.

Hotel Andante Princesa · Hotel refurbishment

We have completed the comprehensive interior refurbishment of this three-star hotel, located on Princesa Street in Barcelona, with a total built area of almost 3,000 m².

The works included the renovation of guest rooms, communal areas, reception and service spaces, as well as the upgrading of building services, while retaining the existing structure, façade and roof.

One of the key aspects of the project was the collaborative working approach, with our Technical Department involved from the design stage and the participation of three Cardoner Group divisions: Constructora del Cardoner, Cardoner Instal·lacions and Fusteria del Cardoner.

Escola Pia Sarrià · Educational facilities refurbishment

We have also completed the renovation of the main courtyard at Escola Pia Sarrià, a 3,050 m² project aimed at upgrading and improving an outdoor space used extensively by the school community.

The works focused on renewing the paving and adjusting levels and slopes to ensure proper water collection and drainage.

The main challenge was completing the project within just two and a half months, concentrating the works during the summer to minimise disruption to the school’s regular activities.
